Registered Nurse

Aminimum of three years’post-registration experience is required, along with a desire to maintain the highest standards of patient care and the ability towork autonomously.

Experience of working in Ophthalmology is not essential as full training will be provided.

Theprimary responsibilityof the role is to perform preconsultation diagnostic scans, visual acuity tests and administer eye drops.

The role also includes a range of other duties including assisting Ophthalmology Consultants with minor procedures, retinal clinics, fluorescein angiography and pre-operative testing including venepucture and ECGs. Exact working hours are negotiable, while the flexibility to increase hours to cover holidays and sickness is essential.
