We are exclusively mandated to recruit a high energy, dynamic and ambitious Financial Controller in the Utilities sector in Guernsey. The successful candidate will act as the de facto number 2 to the Finance Director, will lead and develop a small but growing finance team, driving excellence during a time of significant change and development for the business.

This represents a great opportunity for a qualified accountant with experience of financial control and reporting within commercial business, thorough technical knowhow to take a significant step in their career. As well as managing the finance team, they will be heavily involved in financing, the sourcing and introduction of new ERP and billing systems and the development of the finance function across a multi-jurisdictional environment. The candidate will have exposure to Private Equity backers, as well as being instrumental in the re-modelling of all reporting processes.

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified, and be able to deliver high quality reporting, demonstrate experience in ledger control and accuracy, cash-flow analysis, statutory accounts preparation and be able to build strong relationships with all stakeholders.
