Back to ResultsA long established Swiss private bank with an excellent reputation in wealth and asset management is looking to hire a mobile and web application engineer in Basel, Switzerland.
The successful applicant will design, develop and maintain functionality for our client’s digital channels and provide top-notch applications and features for web and mobile. Analyse, design and implement features for the bank's client-facing digital platform channels using mainly ReactJS and React native, complemented with some iOS/Android development. Implement integrations with backend services. Ensure update of applications and dependencies. Understand and extend the CI/CD build pipelines. Provide 3rd level support.
To be suitable for this role, you will have higher education (university/FH) in Computer Science. Five years of practical experience in the field of mobile and web development. Industry-specific knowledge is an advantage. Experience with front-end technologies (especially React) as well as mobile development (ideally ios). Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (e.g. CI/CD, Azure DevOps) and agile methodologies is beneficial. Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as ability to weight problems and set priorities. Hands-on mentality with willingness to take responsibility and capability to work independently. Fluent in English. Fluency in German and/or Portuguese is a plus.
