Our client, an independent company offering advice and support in all aspects in the management of investment portfolios seeking to recruit a Senior Manager / Associate Director Designate.

Overall role purpose:

Reporting to the Managing Director and Board of Directors the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for all matters concerning the delivery of the company’s service to nominated client portfolios.

Key responsibilities will include:

•    Analysis of client portfolios in relation to investment vehicles
•    Responsibility for certain designated clients
•    Responsibility for monthly investment reports for assigned clients
•    Analysis of movements within the client accounts and within the underlying discretionary fund managers
•    Analysis of performance records
•    Liaison with investments managers and institutions handling client assets
•    Client presentations for assigned clients for review meetings
•    Implementation of agreed strategies
•    All aspects in improving the automation of the delivery of client reports
•    Keep updated on all investments held with underlying clients
•    Investment market and fund research in assigned areas
•    Research and monitor developments of competitors businesses in assigned areas
•    Monitoring compliance with mandates
•    Technical projects in global performance measurement and risk
•    Attending investment seminars as a representative of the company
•    Keep updated on economic and financial news
•    Assist with development of junior staff
•    Responsible for any staff line reports
•    Any other ad hoc responsibilities set by the MD or Board of Directors

The successful candidate will have:

•    Proven work experience in the investment industry.
•    CFA, CISI or similar qualification
•    Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, Statistics and Economics.
•    Skilled investment analysis software user.
•    Strong numerical skills.
•    Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
