Antony joined the advertising department of the Guernsey Press in 1980 and has worked in every aspect of the department including newspaper planner, advertisement design and layout, field sales representative, assistant manager, manager and currently advertising director.
Involved in setting and implementing company policy, Antony’s remit covers all commercial advertising opportunities throughout the newspaper, digital and magazine titles.
Continual development of the recruitment packages is key to the success of the newspaper and the online opportunities enable clients to extend their reach when looking for staff.

Sue has a solid background in newspapers and advertising in a career that started in local newspapers in the Isle of Man in 1988 in telesales. When she moved back to the mainland she worked for UK groups Johnston Press and Newscom in telesales, field sales, new business development with national accounts, team management and training. Sue joined the Guernsey Press in March 2000 to set up the telesales team and as Advertisement Manager she is now involved with local customers and agencies, national agencies and training.
Sue is passionate about the Guernsey Press ‘I have never worked for a newspaper with such strength in the community and depth of penetration. I love the fact that when I speak to anyone they know what the Guernsey Press is and what it stands for’.

Ciaran joined the Guernsey Press in September 2013, from a supervisory role in retail, as a telesales canvasser and looked after small trade clients, working on trade platform and classified advertising. In 2015 he moved to look after Business to Business clients and recruitment. He has also taken over responsibility for the heavyweight finance supplements and careers supplements. Ciaran has also been involved from the start on the new jobs platform, making use of his qualifications in digital marketing.
