The Guernsey Financial Services Commission is looking to recruit a lawyer.
The role includes providing advice to the Commission as well as assisting
on enforcement matters.
The enforcement role requires the successful applicant to work closely
with the Enforcement Division, advising the Director on the legal aspects
of domestic and international investigations into suspected breaches of the
Bailiwick’s regulatory laws, codes and principles.
The role requires a qualified lawyer holding a practising certificate in either
the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth or other common law jurisdiction.
In addition, at least 3 year’s litigation experience is desirable, preferably with
experience of regulatory law and practice and Commercial or Corporate law.
