seeking outstanding candidates for the following position:
Ophthalmic Nurse Practitioner -
A minimum of three years post-registration nursing experience is required,
along with a desire to maintain the highest standards of patient care and
the ability to work autonomously.
Experience of working in Ophthalmology is not essential as full training
will be provided.
The role covers a range of duties, including pre-consultation scans,
visual acuity tests, administering eye drops, assisting Ophthalmology
Consultants with minor procedures, retinal clinics, fluorescein angiography
and pre-operative testing including venepuncture and ECGs. Exact working
hours are negotiable, while flexibility to increase hours to cover holidays
and sickness is essential.
Salary Scale: £19.79 to £23.09 per hour
