As a senior member of the underwriting team, you will play a vital role within this well respected insurance business in Guernsey. Your role will focus on underwriting various commercial insurance risks, including property, combined, fleet and trade on a case by case basis. Using your experience, you will be responsible for achieving retention targets across a range of insurance products and motivating others to do the same, as well as being a senior member of the team. Grow and develop lasting relationships with brokers, customers and third parties to maximise results and generate new business opportunities.

To be eligible for this role you must be an excellent communicator with strong analytical and technical commercial underwriting experience. Have a good understanding of the commercial insurance market and be self-motivated, organised and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Excited by the thought of working in a fast-paced, engaging team and able to confidently work under pressure and against deadlines, you will possess the Cert CII qualification with Dip CII is highly desirable. Our client will support the successful candidate through the process of studying towards becoming ACII qualified.
