A prestigious law firm requires a compliance officer for its Monaco office. The role will have responsibility for regulatory matters in Monaco for both the law practice and the fiduciary and trust business, including reporting and AML transaction monitoring, reviewing new and existing business to ensure KYC standards are maintained and liaising with local regulators in Monaco. The role will require keeping up to date with changes in regulations and developments in the regulatory landscape.
Applicants must have at least 5 years’ experience in the field of compliance and knowledge and experience of working with the Monaco authorities or good transferable knowledge from another jurisdiction. A compliance qualification and fluent French and English are essential. A strong understanding of IT systems is also required. This role is only open to candidates who meet the requirements and have an EU passport.
This is a permanent position with some flexible working, with a minimum of three days a week in the office. Compensation is attractive and there is a full package of benefits.
