Our client is seeking an Underwriter, on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of the Commercial Underwriting Team, the majority of your time will be spent delivering underwriting decisions. These will include risk assessment and risk management, referring cases outside personal authority limits and managing customer interactions. You will assist in maintaining and developing an underwriting/client portfolio and supporting colleagues in the wider team as required. Ideally you will have underwriting experience/industry experience and possess CII qualifications. Experience of working with insurance brokers across a range of insurance products would be beneficial. You will be self-motivated, organised, be able to work under own initiative to deadlines and committed to providing excellent customer service with close attention to detail and accuracy.
