Our client is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Lending Representative to evaluate and prepare loan applications while maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients. Reporting to the Lending Manager, this sales-based role involves supporting clients from initial enquiry to completion, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The successful candidate will contribute to achieving sales targets, maintaining high levels of accuracy, and providing an excellent client experience. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Work towards sales and corporate governance targets for the Lending Department. Evaluate, prepare, and approve loan applications in line with policies and procedures. Meet with applicants to discuss retail loan applications and address their questions. Provide detailed loan applications with explanatory notes for underwriter approval. Respond to loan queries from current and prospective clients. Liaise and correspond with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication. Perform general administrative tasks, including updating Group databases. Undertake regular solicitation to maintain and grow client relationships. Support team members with a positive, can-do attitude and display role model behaviour. Carry out additional duties as required to ensure effective group operations.   Job Requirements: Proven experience in a lending or sales role. Demonstrated ability to support customers throughout the loan application process. Strong numeracy and literacy skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with various databases. Evidence of self-development through training and independent learning. Excellent interpersonal skills for handling enquiries at all levels. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. Ability to work under tight deadlines and make decisions with minimal supervision.
