Our client is looking for a highly numerate Fund Accountant to join their team. This full-time position involves day-to-day administration and accounting of fund structures under the guidance of your line manager. The role requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with responsibilities including bookkeeping, reporting, and client interaction. Click here to read more.   Job Duties:  Assist with all aspects of day-to-day administration and accounting, including calls and distributions, quarterly valuations, monthly and quarterly investor reporting, and annual statement preparation for various funds, management companies, and associated fund structures. Bookkeep all daily operations for a variety of fund structures, including the preparation of periodic bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate records on databases for all bookkeeping and related data. Assist with the completion of routine audit queries. Prepare manual and electronic payment instructions to settle entity expenses and complete investment transactions, including the related bookkeeping. Complete NAV (Net Asset Value) calculations. Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and external parties, managing client expectations and turnaround times proactively. Job Requirements: Essential computer literacy skills. Strong interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts. Some technical knowledge of financial services. At least 2 years of relevant financial services experience. Currently studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA or ACA). Ambition and enthusiasm to grow in the role. Must hold the requisite Guernsey residential certificate/permit.
