Our client is seeking an Associate Underwriter to join their expanding team. You will be supporting the underwriting team, driving the underwriting success of various global security threats including kidnap, ransom, illegal detention, and hijack. Job Duties: Deliver underwriting performance in line with the budget Develop and maintain relationships with distribution channels Underwrite, price, and negotiate accounts, mainly focusing on renewal business Continuously drive improvement within the Underwriting department Manage and analyse a portfolio of business to ensure profitability and meet production targets Participate in client and broker meetings to enhance class knowledge Support underwriting systems and build knowledge across Crisis Management lines Assist in producing management information reports for strategic underwriting decisions Maintain high service standards and work on other projects as assigned   Job Requirements: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships and ask relevant questions Enthusiastic, hardworking, and focused on providing exceptional service Demonstrated analytical skills to support decision-making processes Ability to prioritise and manage workload to meet tight deadlines Quick learner with initiative to explore solutions before raising queries Proactive and flexible with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities   What You’ll Love: Our client offers a dynamic and growing environment where you’ll have the opportunity to develop as a cross-class underwriter.
