Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant, Company Secretarial, to join their Legal department based in Guernsey. Reporting to the Head of Company Secretarial, this role will provide core governance and company secretarial services to regulated entities in Guernsey and their respective boards and committees. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of company secretarial functions, working closely with senior executives and independent non-executive directors. Job Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for boards and committees of regulated entities in Guernsey on all governance matters. Support Chairs in the effective and efficient running of board and committee meetings. Manage annual board and committee performance reviews. Build and maintain relationships with board and committee stakeholders, including independent directors and external parties. Prepare and deliver minutes and action items to deadlines. Assist with governance project work as needed. Review and enhance departmental processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.   Job Requirements: Qualified Governance Professional/Company Secretary (preferred). Knowledge of Guernsey Company Law, the GFSC Code of Corporate Governance, and GFSC Licensing Rules and Regulations (advantageous). Strong presentation skills for boards and committees. Excellent minute-taking and organisational skills. Previous experience in a Governance/Company Secretarial function is essential. Experience supporting boards, preferably with independent non-executives. Familiarity with financial services regulation and governance best practices.
