Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Consultant to join the Guernsey Investor and Client Due Diligence team, supporting both internal and external clients. This senior-level role involves providing expert guidance and approval on compliance-related matters, particularly in relation to Anti-Money Laundering regulations and Guernsey’s regulatory requirements. The consultant will ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies, focusing on complex client relationships and delivering support to senior management. Click here to read more. Job Duties: Advise business partners and senior management on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards Assist in developing and implementing compliance programmes, policies, and procedures Identify and assess compliance risks, guiding management on risk minimisation strategies Interact with regulators, internal and external auditors on regulatory matters Serve as a subject matter expert for compliance and regulatory issues Mentor junior staff and review their work Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Money Laundering Compliance Officer for Guernsey licensees Produce and present MLRO and MLCO reports to the licensee boards Handle Suspicious Activity Reports and liaise with regulatory bodies as required Job Requirements: Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, particularly in relation to AML and CDD Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Leadership abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Flexibility and adaptability to change Strong organisational and customer service skills ICA Diploma in Compliance/AML is desirable What You’ll Love:You will be joining a collaborative and flexible working environment that values financial strength and stability.
