Back to ResultsOur client is looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their Client Reporting team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to maintain high-quality accounting records for companies and trusts while applying knowledge gained from ACCA training courses and continue to grow with the company. Click here to read more. Job Duties: Maintain high-quality and timely accounting records for companies and trusts. Apply the knowledge gained in the ACCA training courses to day-to-day work. Perform periodic reconciliation of internal accounting records to portfolio statements. Manage automated data feeds from third-party custodians. Prepare financial statements of companies and trusts in accordance with the appropriate accounting standards or relevant regulatory requirements, with guidance from Senior Trust Accountants. Support quarterly and annual investment monitoring processes. Liaise with external client stakeholders (advisors, bankers, lawyers, consultants) in close coordination with Client Services. Participate in various Client Reporting and Investment Monitoring improvement projects and initiatives, including automation, system development, and standardisation. Job Requirements: A 2:1 degree (or higher) if you are a graduate, or 112 UCAS points (A-level or equivalent). Experience in bookkeeping or accounting, as well as any relevant experience in private banking or the fiduciary industry, would be advantageous. Developed IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel. Strong analytical and technical skills with an eye for detail. A team player with a can-do attitude, who is client-, service-, and solution-oriented. Fluency in English; other language skills are a plus.
