Our client, a leader in the financial sector, is seeking a Corporate Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst for a temporary 12-month role within their Risk and Compliance team, focusing on Financial Crime Risk Management. Based in Guernsey or Jersey, the role is integral to ensuring the firm’s compliance with relevant legislation by performing first-line Customer Due Diligence processes and escalating where necessary. The Corporate CDD Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within a corporate customer portfolio. This is a full-time position, requiring the ability to work at pace, engage in detailed customer conversations, and apply a risk-based approach while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Click here to read more.   Job Duties: Conduct CDD and Enhanced CDD (ECDD) on various corporate client profiles. Identify and gather all required CDD documents. Use public databases and internal systems to verify due diligence information. Perform screening checks and undertake follow-up research on corporate clients. Engage with clients to obtain incomplete CDD information within set service levels. Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and internal guidelines and policies. Manage personal workloads to ensure timely handling of case portfolios. Maintain customer confidentiality and data integrity in line with company policies. Carry out other tasks as directed by management.   Job Requirements: A-Level standard education or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of corporate CDD-specific experience. Familiarity with High Risk and Enhanced Due Diligence processes for corporate clients. Experience working with complex corporate structures. Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with a range of stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy. Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while being a strong team player. Strong attention to detail and the ability to assess information effectively.
