Our client is seeking a Sanctions Screening Analyst as part of their ongoing growth. This role will suit an individual who is detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring compliance and mitigating risk. The analyst will contribute to the effective operation of the Customer Onboarding function and assist with ongoing customer risk reviews, including managing communication and correspondence related to regulatory obligations. Click here to read more.   Job Duties: Review sanctions, terrorism, PEP, and enforcement-generated customer alerts to identify confirmed matches, discount false matches, perform investigations as required, and escalate to key stakeholders for further review when necessary. Complete adverse media screening and identify any financial crime red flags, escalating as appropriate. Review systems, available data, and investigative tools to mitigate risks. Record and update relevant, accurate, and timely management information in teamwork trackers as needed by the Team Lead.   Job Requirements: Strong ability to work to tight deadlines and often under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality and competency. Support the implementation of changes to systems when needed. Operate in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to the line manager.
