Our client is seeking a Head of Crewing to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing the onboarding process, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The Head of Crewing will lead the day-to-day administration of crew employment and payroll functions, while supporting, coaching, and training the team. This full-time role also involves representing the company at industry events, preparing business proposals, and providing support to the local Director during periods of absence. Click here to read more.   Job Duties: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions Assist the Contracts Team with client due diligence and review of service agreements Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction Promote long-lasting relationships between clients and the team Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and enhance overall client experience Ensure clear communication with clients about updates and new offerings Supervise crewing team administrators and provide in-house training Keep internal procedures, policies, and crew document templates up to date Liaise with clients and captains on crewing matters beyond the Assistant Managers' or Administrators' responsibility Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and yacht shows Assist with the preparation and presentation of new business proposals Oversee the administration of crew employment and payroll tasks Keep up to date with industry changes and report to the management team when necessary Assist with internal procedures manual updates and quality monitoring Provide coaching and support to junior team members Attend management team meetings in the absence of the local Director Perform any other duties reasonably required   Job Requirements: Excellent organisational skills Proven ability to communicate with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels Strong decision-making abilities Ability to prioritise work to meet strict deadlines Ability to manage, motivate, and encourage teamwork Ability to confidently liaise with senior management Capable of handling HR-related matters with compassion Systematic approach to work and attention to detail Flexible and able to multitask High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cello Marine payroll software A minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience Strong understanding of international and national seafarer certification regulations Excellent knowledge of seafarer employment law Deep understanding of the services offered by the group   What You’ll Love:You’ll be part of a dynamic team in a key leadership role, working within a global network of maritime services.
