Our client is looking for a Risk & Quality Senior Associate for an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role is positioned within the Risk and Compliance services team and offers an opportunity to work with a group that provides extensive risk and controls technical knowledge. The successful candidate will develop a holistic approach to risk, assisting management in assessing project risks and controls to protect businesses and facilitate strategic decision-making. Click here to read more. Job Duties:  Support the delivery of risk and compliance projects, including network standards assessments, policy work, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). Collaborate with the Firmwide Risk Manager and the Independence and Ethics Director to manage risk in accordance with increasing network and regulatory requirements. Participate in the annual Network Standards compliance assessment process: Identify updates to the access lists and communicate them to the Archer Provisioning Team. Prepare update spreadsheets for Functional Area Leads (FALs), outlining prior year questions, responses, findings, and current year changes. Roll forward and pre-populate the current year assessments as much as possible through the Archer system. Communicate with relevant teams to assist in completing assessments, agreeing on timelines for completion and review by the FAL. Perform an initial review of completed assessments, highlighting any potential issues or gaps. Prepare the TSP assessment summary ahead of the TSP Confirmation sign-off. Track attendance at Network Standards calls and support FALs with actions arising from these calls. Populate the Findings Tracker following confirmation of findings from internal and external reviews. Assist in communicating findings to relevant leads and document remediation plans. Monitor findings and completion of remediation plans. Prepare reports on the status of findings for the Firmwide Risk Management Meeting. Maintain a Firmwide Risk Register and liaise with relevant FALs to document updates. Prepare reports on top risks, ageing risks, and new risks for the Firmwide Risk Management Meeting and Risk and Quality Committee. Support the development and implementation of an ERM system and assist in its maintenance. Aid in maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 (Information Security) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity). Define, update, and review Service Level Agreements with other Network Firms for services delivered to the Risk and Quality Pillar. Support the Firmwide Risk Manager with the Risk and Quality Committee Meeting Agenda and record decisions made outside this meeting, including updates to the action tracker. Assist with annual training for the Risk and Quality Pillar, including training materials and liaising with Learning & Development on administrative matters. Undertake other ad hoc projects for the Risk and Quality Pillar. Job Requirements: A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ICAEW, ICA Diploma, IRM qualification) would be beneficial, with further study support available. Strong organisational skills. Enthusiastic, energetic, and driven by challenge. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
