Our client is looking for a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to focus on providing business benefits through the continuous enhancement and transformation of the Group's Corporate Services system, Viewpoint. This role involves leveraging advancements in technology to adapt and improve Viewpoint business processes, aligning with the Group's business and technology strategy. The position is based in Jersey, with standard working hours of 37.5 hours per week, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Click here to read more Job Duties:  Serve as the manager for Viewpoint and take responsibility for its development and support. Act as the primary technical lead on Viewpoint projects and initiatives, ranging from simple integrations and automations to extensive application upgrades and system transformations. Provide support and system ownership on other systems when required. Identify solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability, leading the implementation of suitable solutions. Undertake business analysis on some initiatives, sourcing requirements from users to build into solutions and system configurations. Mentor less experienced members of the Technology Team and provide assistance when necessary. Contribute to the Business Solutions strategy for the firm. Follow priorities set by management, aligning with the Technology Strategy. Perform routine Business Solutions system maintenance, upgrades, and releases. Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to support requests. Analyse root causes of common and recurring issues and propose permanent solutions. Assist with the development of data management routines such as imports, reconciliations, and report production. Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times, acting as an ambassador for the Technology department. Attend business meetings as required. Adhere to all Technology Governance processes such as incident management and change enablement. Maintain business solution management documentation, including knowledge base articles, procedure documents, FAQs, and self-help guides. Establish, develop, and maintain effective relationships with assigned business contacts and third-party suppliers. Escalate any issues to the Technology Management Team promptly and recommend potential solutions. Identify and recommend process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings to the Group. Consistently produce work to a high standard while demonstrating professionalism and integrity. Be aware of cybersecurity risks and escalate any concerns. Carry out all tasks securely, following security best practices. Encourage staff awareness of cybersecurity risks and best practice guidelines. Ensure a security and privacy-first approach is taken to all work, meeting the Group's security and privacy policies.   Job Requirements:  Several years of experience in providing support and development on Viewpoint, including workflows, data imports, user and security management, configuration updates, report writing, SQL extracts, application upgrades, and the Engage Portal. Experience supporting a multi-jurisdictional Corporate Services business using Viewpoint. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. Demonstrated ability to solve business problems effectively. Experience working within a technology change management environment. Strong SQL skills are essential. Experience in the development and/or management of system integrations and knowledge of APIs is advantageous. Experience in developing and/or managing complex workflow systems, preferably with the IntApp family of products. Higher level education would be an advantage.
