Back to ResultsOur client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a dedicated Banking System Analyst/Developer to join their Business Applications team in Guernsey on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves supporting banking systems, developing business solutions, and conducting software testing to meet internal and regulatory requirements. Click here to read more Job Duties: Handle, resolve, and escalate application support tickets as required. Collaborate with various teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, enhanced controls, and effective management information. Monitor, evaluate, and prioritise multiple business requirements based on cost-benefit analysis, regulatory needs, and other factors. Design, develop, and document business solutions aligned with business needs, or work with third parties for solution development. Present proposed designs to stakeholders and management for review and approval. Maintain Continued Professional Development (CPD) as per qualification and internal procedures. Uphold core values and behaviours expected by the organisation. Perform any additional duties as requested by management. Job Requirements: Strong GCSE and A-Level grades. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships within the company and the wider business environment to support objectives. Skilled in analysing and interpreting various data forms, with the ability to present findings in a clear, relevant format. Demonstrated capacity to manage oneself and others to deliver timely, high-quality outputs. Experience in providing application support for a wide range of business applications. Accountability for high-profile deliverables with a strong track record of quality delivery.
