Our client is seeking an HR Advisor to join their professional HR service, supporting designated operational areas as part of the HR Business Partnering function within the new HR model. This role is essential in providing technical HR advice, guidance, and operational support to managers and employees across the workforce. The HR Advisor will ensure the adoption of best HR practices aligned with policies, procedures, and directives. This is a full-time position and requires a proactive, solutions-focused individual who can assist with issues throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit. Click here to read more   Job Duties:  Provide comprehensive HR services to designated business areas, promoting best HR practice in line with HR policies, procedures, and directives. Advise operational managers on various aspects of the employee lifecycle. Recruitment and selection processes. Use of probationary periods and job description development. Absence management and interpretation of the Bradford Factor. Occupational Health referrals and use of the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Performance management, including handling conduct and capability issues. Secondments, promotions, additional responsibilities, and exit processes Support operational managers with monitoring, reporting, and analysing sickness absence, ensuring a proactive management approach and analysing trends for escalation when necessary. Collaborate with managers on managing conduct concerns and performance issues, focusing on early intervention and remedy, including issuing improvement notices and documenting outcomes. Provide impartial HR support to individual employees, guiding them through policies and resources while promoting the EAP. Assist operational managers with workforce planning and workforce data management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational reporting standards. Advise on recruitment, re-deployment, secondments, and succession planning for critical roles. Conduct regular reviews and data cleansing on the SAP organisational structure, verifying position numbers and completing position number checks as part of workforce planning. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services, actively engaging in HR transformation projects and completing assigned tasks.   Job Requirements:  Experience in an HR role with strong knowledge of HR best practice, policies, and employment legislation. CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice (Level 3) or willingness to obtain this qualification to progress to EG4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with an approachable and non-judgemental style that fosters engagement and proactive issue resolution. High standard of written communication for drafting clear and concise emails, reports, and documentation. Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with capacity to prioritise tasks and manage conflicting deadlines effectively. Experience with management information systems, such as SAP or SERS, and ability to acquire robust system knowledge.
