Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to support their Compliance team in Guernsey. The role is pivotal in ensuring the company adheres to its regulatory and legal obligations, safeguarding against financial crime such as money laundering, fraud, and other breaches. The Compliance Analyst will assist with monitoring, reviewing, and documenting compliance procedures, playing an important role in maintaining the company’s compliance with local and international regulations. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Perform client due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks during client onboarding, ensuring all documentation is collected, verified, and filed correctly. Assist in conducting risk assessments for new clients, business activities, and products, identifying potential compliance risks. Participate in routine compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to local and international regulations (including AML, CFT, and GDPR). Maintain accurate records of all compliance activities, including training, monitoring, breaches, and investigations. Help prepare regulatory filings and reports in line with Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) requirements and other regulatory bodies. Support the development, implementation, and review of compliance policies, procedures, and manuals, ensuring they are aligned with changes in regulations. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and compliant with regulatory standards. Coordinate compliance training programs to raise awareness of regulatory obligations and company policies across staff. Stay informed of changes in laws and regulations affecting the financial services industry in Guernsey and adjust compliance practices accordingly.   Job Requirements: Professional qualification such as ICA or CISI certifications or studying towards these qualifications. Previous experience in a compliance role within the financial services sector in Guernsey. Strong understanding of Guernsey's regulatory framework, including AML and CFT requirements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations. Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulators. High ethical standards, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
