Our client is seeking an experienced Information Systems Analyst to join their IT team in Guernsey, reporting to the Head of Information Systems. The successful candidate will provide high-quality customer service, technical support, and problem-solving to staff across various jurisdictions. This hands-on role is ideal for an individual with substantial end-user desktop support experience and a broad understanding of technology infrastructure. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Provide outstanding customer service to staff via multiple communication channels. Respond to, document, diagnose, and resolve user technology issues across different locations. Escalate complex issues to relevant technology staff or third-party vendors as needed. Maintain accurate service records and asset register, managing user administration tasks. Ensure new staff have all required IT equipment and setups before their start dates. Address password and user account issues and systematically respond to system failures. Analyse technology issue trends to identify recurring problems and propose preventive solutions. Seek quotes, place orders, and configure new hardware and software installations. Maintain documentation and stock levels for IT equipment and consumables. Regularly review and document technology policies, procedures, and maintenance plans. Plan and execute scheduled maintenance and support system testing with third-party vendors. Assist in implementing internal IT projects and manage day-to-day technology governance. Participate in business continuity and incident response exercises.   Job Requirements: Minimum of 4 years' experience in a relevant IT role. Relevant Microsoft certifications and ITIL Foundation certification are beneficial. Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills. In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and current technology trends. Hands-on experience in end-user desktop support, ideally with remote support skills. Broad understanding of technology infrastructure, security, and vulnerability management. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development. Aligned with company values and able to adapt to its mission. Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 11. Microsoft Teams and SharePoint, including meeting room conferencing.
