Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a motivated and proactive Sustainability Coordinator to join their Sustainability Team, supporting Net Zero initiatives and sustainability projects across their operations in three islands. Reporting to the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), the role involves coordinating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, delivering the Net Zero Action Plan, and promoting environmental sustainability. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work on innovative sustainability projects, align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and drive meaningful change within the organisation and the community. Click here to read more Job Duties: Collaborate with the Sustainability Team to deliver Net Zero and sustainability workstreams across the group. Coordinate and support the execution of the organisation’s Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero Action Plan. Manage projects focused on Net Zero research, development, and innovation, particularly in gas decarbonisation and energy performance. Work with internal stakeholders to implement the “Role Model Net Zero” vision across the business. Support the CSO in running the internal Sustainability Working Group and progressing sustainability initiatives. Develop business cases for environmental sustainability projects. Engage with local communities and coordinate CSR activities that align with strategic sustainability objectives and the selected UN Sustainable Development Goals. Identify opportunities for involvement in carbon reduction and sustainability projects that promote the business and benefit local communities. Perform other duties within the scope of the role as required. Adhere to established health and safety standards and procedures. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and participate in reviews of workplace risks. Support health and safety initiatives and undertake relevant training. Comply with rehabilitation plans after an accident, if applicable. Job Requirements: Strong organisational and project management skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Knowledge or interest in sustainability, Net Zero strategies, and CSR initiatives. Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and foster community partnerships. Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented approach to environmental and sustainability challenges.
