Our client, a privately owned and independent trust company, is seeking a Senior Trust Administrator to manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate structures. This role involves ensuring high-quality client service, completing all administrative tasks in line with company procedures, and supporting the development of junior staff. The position is based in Guernsey. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Administer a portfolio of trusts and corporate structures, ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures. Process client banking instructions accurately. Maintain awareness of client take-on procedures and associated risks. Deliver quality service to the allocated client portfolio and resolve queries effectively. Ensure compliance with trust and corporate regulatory requirements. Communicate professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client data promptly. Prepare accurate written communications, including letters, emails, and minutes. Manage and record time effectively, focusing on chargeable hours. Ensure efficient cash collection and control of debtors. Support the training and motivation of junior team members. Work towards agreed training requirements and performance goals. Escalate issues and exceptions to senior team members as needed.   Job Requirements: A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in trust administration. Currently studying or completed a relevant qualification (e.g., STEP, CGI, ACCA). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level. Commitment to delivering quality client service. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing business needs. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Capable of managing workloads in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Skilled in prioritisation and task execution with minimal supervision.
