Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Senior Inventory Manager to lead and optimise inventory management practices across the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, this role will involve overseeing cross-functional teams, developing inventory strategies, embedding best practices, and driving continuous improvement. The position is based in Guernsey (in-office) or the UK (Hybrid). Click here to read more Job Duties: Drive cross-functional teams to optimise inventory capabilities and develop best practices. Report on standardised KPIs, introducing new metrics to support business objectives. Partner with supply chain and business leaders to identify opportunities for inventory improvements. Lead the Inventory Management team to implement and execute optimisation plans and forecasts. Develop inventory-focused business processes, enhancing organisational planning knowledge. Recruit and develop team members with a focus on leadership and succession planning. Implement inventory management strategies to optimise investment and improve customer service. Collaborate with supply chain leaders to enhance inventory processes. Provide detailed reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiency. Maximise availability through statistical analysis, aligning business intake targets. Embed the Slimstock inventory tool into operations as a key deliverable for 2025. Job Requirements: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role, including team management and Slimstock expertise. Experience managing cross-functional teams, S&OP processes, online retailing, and multi-sourcing environments. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Organisational, logistics, and problem-solving expertise. Proficient in data analysis and detail-oriented. Ability to foster collaboration and team-oriented environments. Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, systems engineering, or supply chain management. Proficiency in inventory management software, forecasting, and ordering strategies. Experience managing large-scale SKUs and leveraging optimisation software.
