Our client is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will support the Risk Manager by providing expertise, advice, and validation to ensure effective management of the firm's Risks. This role involves analytical oversight to confirm compliance with risk policies, frameworks, and risk appetites, contributing to the organisation's strategic and operational goals. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Provide analytical support in developing risk strategies and plans. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal risk policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor delivery of risk-related plans. Maintain awareness of current and emerging risks affecting credit, operational, and other risk areas. Validate adherence to Lending Policy and Risk Appetite through analytical review. Confirm compliance with Operational Risk Policy, Framework, and Risk Appetite. Analyse and ensure compliance with other risk policies and appetites. Prepare analysis and reports for committees, including the Credit Sub Committee, Executive Committee, and Board. Assist the Finance Department with annual ICAAP preparation and Reverse Stress Testing. Identify and communicate developing risk trends to key decision-makers. Produce Board Credit Reports detailing mortgage/arrears performance and highlighting significant risks. Maintain accurate and timely analysis that aligns with organisational requirements. Adhere to CPD requirements as per qualification level and internal policies. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.   Job Requirements: Proven ability to achieve results and work towards relevant professional qualifications. Experience in building partnerships with stakeholders. Commitment to behaviours and practices aligning with organisational values. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficiency in analysing business data, summarising insights, and producing management reports. Ability to develop and manage MI dashboards. Competent user of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
