Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an experienced and proactive Client Accounting Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This senior role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team, oversee client accounting functions, and contribute to process improvements and training initiatives. Click here to read more Job Duties: Review team-prepared work to ensure high-quality standards. Address queries and assist with administrative actions during and post-account preparation. Identify and implement changes to optimise processes and procedures. Collaborate with the Transformation team to automate accounts preparation and bookkeeping tasks. Oversee team administration, including timesheets, holiday approvals, and work scheduling. Manage staff performance, set objectives, and conduct performance reviews. Coach team members and support their professional development. Meet deadlines while fostering strong relationships with internal teams. Provide training and support for Client Accounting staff across jurisdictions. Prepare and deliver annual bookkeeping training and updates for trust staff. Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements for the firm. Develop the annual Client Accounting team budget under the Finance team's guidance. Carry out other duties as required. Job Requirements: ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or significant experience in a managerial client accounting role. Demonstrable people and team management skills. Strong accounting expertise and technical knowledge. Proven ability to manage change and contribute to automation projects. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels. Effective organisational and planning abilities. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Collaborative and professional work approach. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to the role.
