Our client is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Compliance, to assist the Risk and Compliance Director in developing, managing, and monitoring internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and licensing standards. The role involves oversight of the Compliance Review Programme, team management, and acting as the Nominated Officer in the MLRO's absence. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Develop, update, and monitor risk ratings and criteria to align with regulatory standards. Regularly assess and update country risk profiles using internal and external sources. Collate and review information from compliance reviewers, categorising remedial actions, and tracking resolutions under the RAG system. Prepare weekly management reports and quarterly board reports, highlighting themes and trends. Maintain and monitor the Breaches Registers, advising on rectifications and escalating issues as necessary. Oversee periodic AML/CFT/CPF and administrative reviews, addressing concerns and recommending improvements. Act on Suspicious Activity Reports in the MLRO's absence, documenting decisions and ensuring appropriate disclosures. Provide recommendations for updates to office forms, checklists, and guidance notes. Manage the compliance team, including monitoring performance, providing training, and holding regular team meetings. Review new business and trigger event packs, conducting necessary checks and approvals. Assist the Risk and Compliance Director with other relevant duties as required.   Job Requirements: Demonstrated technical expertise in compliance at a senior level, with a proven track record of excellence. Relevant compliance qualification or equivalent, along with adherence to CPD requirements. Excellent knowledge of GFSC regulatory and data protection requirements. Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and relay complex information effectively.
