Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Treasury Dealer to manage the foreign exchange and money market books for their Channel Islands operations. Based in Guernsey, this role involves ensuring liquidity, enhancing returns, and maintaining compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Click here to read more   Job Duties: Manage the daily operations of the Bank’s Money Market, HQLA, Repo, and Foreign Exchange books. Execute money market and repo transactions while maintaining appropriate liquidity levels at correspondent accounts. Enhance returns on the Bank’s funds while adhering to liquidity and regulatory requirements. Maintain interest rate risk exposure within set limits. Oversee and adjust the Bank’s client deposit interest rate structure. Prepare and distribute deposit rate sheets to client-facing teams and provide tailored client deposit rates. Quote spot and forward foreign exchange rates, monitor exposure, and secure interbank market cover. Strengthen and develop interbank counterparty relationships for traded products. Provide clients with informed opinions on global economic developments. Support the Treasury Head and client-facing teams in promoting the Bank’s services. Assist with reviewing and updating Treasury procedure manuals.   Job Requirements: Minimum of five years’ experience in an active market trading environment, including inter-bank money and foreign exchange markets. Experience in Securities Finance/Repo markets is advantageous. Ideally holds an ACI Diploma or equivalent qualification. Proven ability to self-manage within a bank treasury function, generating significant gross profits. Strong analytical skills to interpret and communicate market and economic data effectively. Calm and stable under pressure, able to perform accurately in high-stakes environments.
