Our client is seeking a Sustainability Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time position with responsibilities including the development, implementation, and reporting of sustainability strategies, policies, and initiatives. The role ensures alignment with the client’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Job Duties: Manage the development of the Sustainability Strategy in line with industry frameworks and standards. Collaborate with the Commercial Team, Senior Management, stakeholders, and external partners to align with global sustainability standards while meeting local regulatory and community expectations. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data and performance metrics. Ensure the Sustainability Strategy aligns with the overall Group strategy, including net zero targets, and maintain consistency in reporting and targets. Support the delivery of commitments to the United Nations Environment Programme and Principles for Responsible Banking. Foster a culture of sustainability through employee training and awareness programmes. Represent the organisation in industry forums and events, advocating for sustainability. Identify opportunities to integrate sustainability into business operations, products, and services. Lead sustainability initiatives in the development of new products and services. Build sustainability management information and reporting systems, and support the Product Proposition and Sustainability Committee. Maintain compliance with Continued Professional Development (CPD) requirements in accordance with qualification level and internal procedures. Uphold the client’s core values and expected behaviours. Perform any other duties as deemed necessary by management.   Job Requirements:  Degree-level education in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a Sustainability role. Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and regulations. Proven experience in a sustainability-focused role. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships within the company and the wider business environment to achieve sustainability objectives. Strong numerical and commercial acumen. Ability to engage effectively across teams.
