Our client is seeking a Managing Director to lead and oversee all aspects of their corporate services business in Guernsey. This role involves driving growth, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining compliance with local and international standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans, building a high-performing team, overseeing financial performance, and providing operational and business development leadership.   Job Duties: Develop and execute the group's strategic plan to achieve business objectives and drive growth and sustainable profit. Identify and implement synergies, opportunities, and efficiencies across the corporate services business. Provide visionary leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring alignment with group goals. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks. Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement. Set clear performance expectations, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback. Oversee the financial performance of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to make informed decisions and ensure profitability and sustainable growth. Implement sound financial controls and risk management practices to safeguard group assets. Provide strategic oversight to operational functions, including corporate administration, compliance, and risk management. Ensure the delivery of high-quality corporate services in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Drive operational efficiencies and integrate innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. Manage key client relationships, focusing on delivering outstanding service and identifying opportunities to expand services. Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and professional contacts. Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and professional associations, enhancing its profile and networking with potential clients and partners.   Job Requirements: University degree and/or relevant professional qualification (e.g., Corporate Governance Institute/Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators). Minimum of 15 years' experience in a leadership role within the corporate services sector, preferably in the Channel Islands market. In-depth knowledge of corporate services, governance, regulatory environments, and financial regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and operational excellence. Exceptional leadership and management skills, fostering a high-performance culture. Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems. Demonstrated strategic thinking, innovation, and adaptability in a dynamic business environment. Forward-thinking approach, incorporating technology and innovation to enhance services.
