Our client is seeking an Associate to join their financial services law team. This role offers a varied working day, providing legal advice on corporate and commercial law, investment funds, banking, and regulatory matters. The Associate will work as part of the team, supporting partners and collaborating with senior associates and paralegals to deliver high-quality legal services to clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal practice while developing your expertise in Guernsey offshore law.   Job Duties: Manage and coordinate transactions from initial advice through to conclusion, seeking support and guidance as required. Provide efficient and high-quality legal support to partners across all aspects of client work. Conduct legal research and analysis. Review and summarise legal documents. Record time, manage billing, and ensure efficient collections in line with policy. Open and close matters in compliance with CDD and AML procedures. Update and maintain the Client Relationship Management system. Assist in business development initiatives, including developing plans, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and promoting services. Support the firm's growth through non-chargeable activities such as writing articles, preparing seminars, and assisting with presentations. Undertake additional activities or projects as required by the partners.   Job Requirements: Newly qualified or junior-level legal professional with a PQE of 0-2 years. A UK/Guernsey-recognised legal qualification is preferred. Knowledge and experience in banking, corporate/commercial, or regulatory work and compliance regimes. Strong drafting skills and a willingness to learn Guernsey offshore law. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Client-focused approach with a responsible, disciplined, and methodical attitude. Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision. Flexible, positive attitude with energy, drive, and enthusiasm.
