Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join their Guernsey office. The role involves administering a portfolio of trust and company clients while providing guidance to team members and assisting with workflow management. This position is ideal for a professional who has developed a strong technical and practical background in trust and company administration and is ready to take on a leadership role.   Job Duties: Administer a portfolio of clients, including maintaining accurate records, drafting minutes and correspondence, and ensuring all client due diligence is up to date. Handle complex client matters with minimal supervision and maintain reconciled bank accounts and transaction records. Provide advice and support to Administrators and Senior Administrators on day-to-day tasks. Assist Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners with technical issues, staff relationships, and workflow organisation. Monitor group receivables, work-in-progress, and pending jobs, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently. Oversee team workflows, including preparation of annual accounts, annual returns, AGMs, and property insurance renewals. Support quarterly billing requirements and ensure team members are fully engaged with tasks. Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, investment managers, bankers, and lawyers, including attending face-to-face meetings. Maintain a strong knowledge of company secretarial, compliance, and anti-money laundering practices. Undertake all administration for own portfolio and contribute to the team's efficient operation.   Job Requirements: Qualified or working towards STEP, ICSA, ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or significant experience in trust and company administration. Proven experience in trust administration with excellent technical knowledge. Demonstrated ability in line management or strong potential for leadership. Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional oral and written communication abilities. Proficiency in IT systems, including electronic filing and database management.
