Our client is seeking a Client Accountant to join their Client Accounting Section. This role involves preparing financial statements for clients of the Trust Group, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining the high standards of service expected within the organisation. The successful candidate will assist with financial statement preparation, review accounting records, liaise with auditors, and support staff training, all while maintaining technical proficiency with the organisation’s systems.    Job Duties: Draft financial statements for Trust Group clients. Audit computerised accounting records before preparing financial statements. Review minute books, statutory records, trust documents, and correspondence files related to financial statement preparation. Liaise with auditors as required to facilitate their work. Assist in training staff by sharing specialist knowledge. Maintain technical proficiency in relevant systems, including Excel, iManage, and NavOne. Review and clear exceptions identified in exception reports on a daily basis. Solve problems and resolve accounting queries. Undertake special projects and investigate complaints when necessary. Ensure fees for preparing financial statements are processed promptly.   Job Requirements: Strong knowledge of computerised accounting systems. Expertise in preparing financial statements for trusts and companies. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
