Our client is seeking a Senior Funds & Regulatory Lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Corporate team in Guernsey. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse range of corporate matters, with a primary focus on investment funds and related regulatory work. You will work closely with partners, provide guidance to junior fee earners, and contribute to business development initiatives. The position offers significant autonomy, responsibility, and client contact, along with a competitive remuneration package and lifestyle-friendly benefits.   Job Duties: Obtain clear instructions from clients and intermediaries, provide legal advice, and prepare relevant documentation Review and comment on third-party documentation Manage matters independently and lead transaction-appropriate teams to deliver top-tier client service Provide guidance to junior fee earners, supporting their development and addressing any concerns Act as the main point of contact for clients on allocated matters Ensure administrative compliance, including conflict searches, due diligence, matter opening, time recording, billing, and lock-up management Organise workload effectively and communicate clearly with partners, clients, and intermediaries regarding deadlines and deliverables Manage and execute discrete tasks thoroughly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards Maintain continuous professional development and meet local CPD requirements Perform additional duties as required to support the services provided by the client   Job Requirements: Excellent academic background and relevant professional qualifications, ideally gained in a common law jurisdiction A minimum of five years’ PQE with substantial knowledge in corporate law, financial services, funds, and regulatory matters Proven ability to provide sound legal advice tailored to clients’ commercial objectives and draft a variety of legal documents Willingness to enhance existing skills and stay updated with legal developments through additional training Effective organisational and communication skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and the capability to work autonomously Demonstrated aptitude for grasping complex legal information and translating it into actionable advice Open to candidates with varying PQE levels, provided they possess the required technical knowledge and skills   What You’ll Love:This role provides a unique opportunity to join a client that values inclusivity, professional development, and innovation.
