Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their transformation team in Guernsey or Jersey. This role involves analysing and interpreting data to provide actionable insights, optimise processes, and support strategic initiatives. As part of a forward-thinking organisation, you will contribute to the development and execution of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and foster sustainable growth.   Job Duties: Collect, clean, and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel. Collaborate with business units to understand data requirements and enhance operational processes. Elicit and document functional and non-functional data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals. Ensure data accuracy and consistency through audits, governance practices, and issue resolution. Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Develop and maintain data models, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Document data processes, workflows, and methodologies for knowledge sharing and process continuity. Conduct trend and risk analysis to support forecasting and KPI tracking.   Job Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within finance or financial services. Proficiency in data visualisation platforms like Power BI and Tableau, and query languages such as SQL. Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft 365 tools and analytical platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights for diverse audiences. Demonstrated success in data-related projects and change initiatives using waterfall and agile methodologies. Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and process optimisation to improve efficiency and insight delivery. A digitally savvy individual committed to leveraging technology and continuous self-learning.
