Our client is seeking a dynamic Human Resources and Payroll Manager to lead their team in delivering compliant and efficient HR and payroll services to clients. This role involves managing the payroll of over 2,000 crew members across 100+ superyachts globally while ensuring compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) 2006, Guernsey Data Protection Law (DPL), and other regulations. The successful candidate will oversee team performance, client relations, and strategic planning within the department.   Job Duties: Lead and develop the HR & Payroll team, ensuring training, appraisals, and regular communication. Oversee accurate and timely payroll production for all clients, including new client integration. Monitor and maintain compliance with MLC 2006, yacht flag administration laws, and data protection regulations. Investigate and address non-compliances or deficiencies through corrective actions. Act as the main point of contact for contractual and employment-related matters for crew. Liaise with government agencies and ensure adherence to payment schedules and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports for stakeholders and support emergency response operations. Plan departmental objectives and adapt to legislative changes in collaboration with the Operations Director.   Job Requirements: Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, ideally in a maritime or international context. Knowledge of MLC 2006, Guernsey Data Protection Law, or equivalent GDPR regulations. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and client-focused attitude.
