Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis in Guernsey. This pivotal role involves producing management accounts, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will support the senior team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and other financial planning while ensuring the smooth operation of the Finance function.   Job Duties: Ensure robust governance, controls, monitoring, and reporting standards. Submit accurate financial, regulatory, and statutory returns on time. Lead the production and analysis of management accounts and discuss trends with senior management. Prepare and monitor various types of management information. Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory and group reporting. Review the work of team members and train a trainee accountant. Assess new management information requirements and design solutions. Assist in building and monitoring budgets and forecasts. Help prepare the annual ICAAP and Corporate Plan documents. Monitor and manage balance sheet risks.   Job Requirements: Membership of ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, or CIMA. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or a financial role. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial services regulations. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and present findings appropriately. Experience with operational processes, procedures, and technology. A track record of delivering high-quality work on time and meeting high-profile deliverables. Ability to interpret complex accounting standards and regulations.
