Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Internal Finance Team as an Accountant, on a 4-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role, offering an opportunity to work in a friendly and progressive environment, assisting with a variety of finance-related duties.   Job Duties: Assist with updating budget documents in Excel. Roll forward and update template monthly reporting spreadsheets using SUM, IF, and IFS formulas. Prepare financial statements (FRS 102 and IFRS) and assist with auditor queries. Calculate and communicate monthly interest charges on unpaid debts. Set up and review control sheets for prepayments and accruals. Assist with balance sheet reconciliations. Help monitor and follow up on timesheet submissions. Assist with intercompany loan reconciliations.   Job Requirements: Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA). Solid knowledge of accounting standards with at least 5 years of experience in internal finance. Strong Excel skills. Good communication skills with effective organisational and planning abilities.
