Back to ResultsOur client is seeking an experienced individual to join their Wealth & Personal Banking team in Guernsey as a Senior Mortgage Advisor. This role is central to the growth of the mortgage business, providing tailored advice to new and existing customers in line with the organisation's policies on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF). The position involves identifying customer needs, offering tailored mortgage solutions, and ensuring high-quality, sales-focused service. Job Duties: Deliver an agile and flexible service to meet customers’ needs through their preferred channel of choice. Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs. Provide personalised mortgage packages tailored to individual customer requirements. Recognise wider financial planning needs and make appropriate referrals to other areas of the organisation. Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships to generate responsible new business. Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all interactions. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Drive mortgage performance and monitor management information (MI) to exceed personal and team sales targets. Job Requirements: Holding a CeMAP qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential. Confident and professional communication skills. Proven ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in meeting compliance and quality standards. Familiarity with business processes, rules, and regulations. A track record of success in the mortgage and lending environment.
