Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Talent Officer to manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, oversee onboarding and orientation, drive talent management initiatives, enhance employer branding, and manage offboarding processes. Based in Guernsey and reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this role is essential in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent to support the organisation’s strategic goals.   Job Duties: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. Conduct interviews and assessments, collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and maintain a strong talent pipeline. Work with the Head of People and Culture to create and deliver onboarding programmes, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees. Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new hires to the company culture, policies, and procedures. Support employees relocating for their roles and monitor onboarding processes to enhance the experience. Identify and develop talent management strategies, supporting employees in career development and creating succession plans for key positions. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of talent management programmes. Enhance the company’s employer brand, working to position the organisation as an employer of choice and promoting its values, culture, and benefits. Coordinate with relevant teams to maintain consistent employer branding messages. Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, final settlements, and analysing feedback to inform retention strategies.   Job Requirements: Proven experience in talent acquisition and management. Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Strong organisational and project management skills. Proficiency in Office 365. Previous experience in the airline or transportation industry (desirable). CIPD Level 3 qualification (desirable).
