Our client is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to provide support to the marketing team for corporate, banking & finance, and investment funds lawyers. This is a full-time position, ideally based in Guernsey, reporting to the Assistant Manager, M&BD for corporate. The role will involve supporting the marketing team with a range of industry events globally, ensuring alignment with marketing plans and strategies.   Job Duties: Support the implementation of specific marketing and business development initiatives within the corporate practice area. Assist with the planning and organisation of practice area events, including pre-event planning and logistics. Draft invitations, reminder campaigns, and follow-up emails, and manage RSVPs. Liaise with venues and third-party suppliers, providing front-of-house support at events such as event registration and hosting. Book delegate places for conferences and seminars. Create webinars using the BigMarker platform and manage associated tasks. Provide support for CSR events and local Guernsey events and initiatives. Contribute to the annual budgeting process by researching event costs and details. Ensure corporate lawyers have up-to-date collateral, especially for events. Format and brand client legal briefings, lawyer profiles, and other documents using InDesign. Assist in creating and updating collateral as necessary. Support the creation of targeted marketing campaigns using the e-marketing system (Vuture), including reporting on results. Ensure contact details and activities are up-to-date on the CRM system. Generate marketing reports and target lists from the CRM system. Process and check invoices, arrange payments, and manage local stock of branded items. Organise courier packages and make updates to the company home page as needed. Handle general administrative tasks related to marketing.   Job Requirements: Experience in a financial or professional services marketing team is useful but not essential. Proficiency in using CRM systems is beneficial. Graduate level (2:1 or above) preferred, though exceptional A-level or college leavers will also be considered. Commitment to undertaking CIM qualifications after the probation period. Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills. Strong IT and technical skills (training will be provided on all systems). Effective prioritisation and organisational skills.
