Back to ResultsOur client is seeking two motivated individuals to join their team as Consulting Trainees. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates looking to begin a career in consultancy, with full training and development provided. The role is full-time and based in Guernsey, with an immediate start available, though flexibility is offered for graduates finishing university in September 2025. As a Consulting Trainee, you will support the delivery of consultancy services across a range of clients, including insurance companies, charitable trusts, and pension schemes. You will develop problem-solving, mathematical, and communication skills while contributing to consulting projects. The position offers opportunities to specialise in investment consultancy, insurance, or other areas, with full support towards obtaining a relevant professional qualification. Job Duties: Assist in the production of advisory reports and presentations. Liaise with clients, advisors, and other stakeholders. Manage tasks efficiently to ensure successful project delivery. Represent the company professionally in interactions with clients, investment managers, and other third parties. Develop expertise within a specialist team, such as investment consultancy or insurance. Job Requirements: Strong problem-solving abilities and mathematical skills. An A Level in Mathematics is essential. A relevant degree (2:1 or higher) is generally expected. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently after initial briefing, as well as collaboratively within a team. Previous experience in a financial services office environment is advantageous but not essential.
