Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Marketing and Communications Assistant to support their busy marketing and communications team. Based in Guernsey, the successful candidate will assist with marketing initiatives, communications planning, event coordination, and brand management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in marketing within a professional services environment. Job Duties: Support the development and delivery of the company’s communications plan. Assist in creating marketing materials and campaigns for both print and digital platforms. Help implement marketing initiatives for service lines and business development teams. Support the planning and organisation of corporate hospitality and industry events. Manage internal communications, including staff updates and town hall events. Maintain and update website content, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. Assist with social media management, including content creation, scheduling, and reporting. Ensure marketing materials align with brand guidelines and corporate standards. Oversee promotional materials and maintain stock levels across offices. Manage compliance advertising logs and support financial reporting processes. Assist with CRM activities, including compiling mailing lists and managing user access. Process invoices and general administrative tasks. Job Requirements: Previous experience in marketing within a professional services firm would be advantageous but is not essential. A keen interest in marketing, communications, and event management. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to learn. Attention to detail and a commitment to professional development. A graduate qualification is preferred; however, an exceptional candidate with A-levels may be considered.
