Our client, a well-established financial and fiduciary services provider, is seeking an Assistant Manager to join a busy team dealing with private clients. The role is suited to a STEP or ICSA-qualified professional with strong communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will support the Trust Manager in overseeing a team of administrators, ensuring the efficient management of client portfolios, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Duties: Assist in managing a team of administrators in all aspects of trust and company administration. Support the Team Manager with the day-to-day running of the team and its systems. Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries. Oversee the administration of an allocated portfolio of clients, ensuring a high standard of service. Motivate and guide team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure chargeable time is properly recorded and invoices are raised in a timely manner. Monitor and follow up on aged debtors. Prepare for and attend client meetings, ensuring follow-up on action points. Maintain a strong understanding of risk management. Keep up to date with regulatory requirements relevant to clients. Attend meetings with clients and third parties as required. Ensure client due diligence is up to date. Oversee client reporting and project management. Job Requirements: STEP or ICSA qualification. A minimum of 7 years’ experience in trust and company administration. Strong knowledge of trust and company structures, financial transactions, and regulatory requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and solve problems effectively. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment. Professional, courteous, and proactive approach to both clients and colleagues. A willingness to learn new skills and mentor junior team members.
