Back to ResultsOur client is seeking experienced insurance professionals to join their team in a varied and dynamic role within a small but growing business. This position offers a broad range of responsibilities, from company administration and client interaction to business development support. It is well-suited to a proactive individual with strong administrative experience who is comfortable working independently and engaging with directors, clients, and external partners. Job Duties: Maintain financial records, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. Liaise with accountants to ensure management accounts are prepared for board meetings. Organise board meetings, including preparing agendas, collating documents, and compiling board packs. Attend meetings, take minutes, and circulate them within the required timeframe. Provide administrative support to clients, including liaising with brokers, claims handlers, and third parties. Draft payment instructions, process online banking transactions, and maintain company registers. Handle correspondence with clients, regulatory authorities, and business partners. Carry out general office administration, including filing, scanning, and managing post. Organise travel arrangements for staff, directors, and clients. Undertake errands within the local area, such as delivering documents to banks and trustees. Stay informed on relevant laws, regulations, and insurance industry requirements. Job Requirements: Administrative experience, ideally within insurance or financial services. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and confident approach. High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure. A proactive mindset with an interest in learning and professional development.
