Our client, a telecoms company is currently seeking a Regulatory Specialist in either Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man to join its team. Guernsey is the strong preference for this position due to the duties of the role, but strong applications from Jersey and Isle of Man candidates, who align to the skills and experience criteria will be considered and can be based in these locations.

The ideal individual would have at least five years proven, practical experience of working on regulatory matters within a regulated environment, preferably within the telecoms industry or working for a telecoms regulator. This may have been gained as a regulatory economist, a regulatory lawyer, or possibly as a regulatory-focused accountant. You should also be familiar with licence compliance matters, regulatory consultation processes  and practical “business as usual” regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will have the ability to apply technical regulatory expertise to deliver the commercial objectives of the organisation, including the drafting and submission of formal responses to external consultations and market information requests.
